What: Residence Maintenance
Who: Mercy Home
Details:  Provide maintenance and repairs in all assigned facilities throughout Mercy Home. Represent the Agency by promoting and modeling the mission and core values of the Sisters of Mercy and Mercy Home.  Mercy Home supports persons with developmental disabilities in living full and interesting lives. They do this in their residential, supportive and respite programs.
Role Qualifications: High School or GED, and any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, Valid, unrestricted NY state driver's license. Good verbal communication skills required.
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, climb stairs, crouch/squat, kneel, reach with hands and arms, twist, walk, talk and hear. Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items of a reasonable weight. Must be able to distinguish colors.
Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal but depending upon duties may increase.

Details  Must have an NYC DOB Construction Superintendent License with experience in High End interior renovations, Exterior Facade, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Systems a plus. Must be detail oriented, able to do onsite paperwork, organize and coordinate all trades.
SUPERINTENDENT'S JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITES:
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Host weekly construction meetings.
• Manage the entire internal and external workforce.
• Ability to read, review and interpret plans and specifications.
• Create a detail list of materials to be ordered as per the specifications.
• Detailed daily log field report, insurance log and Permit logs.
• Schedule all inspections.
• Produce & Update weekly job schedule.
• Create punch-lists.
• Coordinate daily all trades on the job and manage their productivity.
• 30 Hour OSHA Course
