Details:
Must have the ability to conceptually budget, meet deadlines, handle various projects simultaneously, work effectively in a demanding environment. Experience with construction drawings, specifications, architectural sketches and other related construction documents. Excellent computer skills, math skills and have well developed time scheduling and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare bid packages. Prepare quantity take-offs and estimates on various projects. Coordinate, budget, prepare and analyze bids for large and small scale government projects with DASNY, SCA, DDC, PANY&NJ, Parks & Recreation, DCAS, MTA, GSA, NPS. Provide telephone and online customer assistance. Develop spreadsheets in MS excel and prepare bid documents. Conduct site visits. Interface with clients, owner’s representatives, account executives and sub-contractors.
Experienced Required:
High School Diploma, Industry related college degree desirable with a minimum 5 years of conceptual and bid estimating for design-bid-build projects; hard bid estimating and negotiated bid experience; must be familiar with the New York Metro Area subcontractor market; Government/Public Work experience preferred; experience with estimating software packages

Maintaining warehouse inventory
