It’s tax season again! If you haven’t filed your tax return yet I’d like to let you know about a FREE resource for you to take advantage of. The Food Bank for New York City is offering several free tax preparation resources throughout the city. In addition to helping you file your tax return, they will also help identify which tax credits you qualify for. The Earned Income Tax Credit can be worth more than $7000 depending on the number of people in your family.
They have free tax preparation sites available throughout each of the city’s 5 boroughs.
